This Classic Bowl is sealed in edible oil and is suitable for use as a salad bowl.  (Les prefers to use walnut oil for its fine qualities but an alternative can be used where nut alergies are a concern).

This bowls must not be submerged in water as this will damage the wood. 

While each bowl will generally fall into broad categories of shape and size, an individual bowl is determined by the piece of timber from which it evolves.  Each piece is cut from "wind fall" logs taken from the forrest floor and will be as individual as the original tree.
